Adobe Community Professional Chana Messer, on September 8, 2012, presenting a daylong session including CS6 Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Touch APPs and Creative Cloud at the School of Visual Arts.
Join us for a day of education on Adobe's newest products from one of the best presenters in the business! You will see the cool new features of CS6 in action. You will also find out about Creative Cloud and how it can change the way you use Adobe software forever!
Chana Messer is a Fine Artist, Designer, Trainer, Software Evangelist, Lead Instructor at the Walt Disney Company, and a faculty member at UCLA. She has been teaching at the university level for more than 25 years in the fields of Fine Art and Digital Imaging in the Department of Visual Arts at UCLA.
She is an Adobe Certified Expert, Adobe Partner, Adobe Community Professional, member of the Adobe Professional Freelance Team, and an Adobe User Group Manager. As such she has been invited to present at Adobe events, including Mac World, AIGA, Adobe MAX and other events in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Chicago, New York and Tel Aviv.

Tickets: Early Registration Ticket sales at $25 ends on August 25. Regular Tickets are $40, and At the Door is $50. This nominal fee is to help pay the expenses.

10:00 to 12:00 Illustrator and Photoshop - What is new in Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Illustrator CS6. Introducing the features that will enable you to work more efficiently and faster: New Retouching Tools, New Filters as well as a New Trace Tool and an Elegant and Clean Interface. Presentation will include introduction, demo and Q& A.
LUNCH Break
1:00 - 2:30 Touch APPS plus Creative Cloud - Exploring new creative opportunities using Adobe Creative Touch Apps - In this presentation we will explore the new ways of working on your project using Adobe Touch Apps. Create and design on your Touch device and seamlessly transition between apps and the creative suite. Learn how to create a project on your tablet and than refine it using the Adobe Creative Suite.
3:00 - 4:30 InDesign - Amazing new features that will let you work with InDesign and create new projects in a faster way. Introducing liquid layout, linked text and much more. Presentation will include DPS, and a talk about the future of print.
