Description
Mean or Lean UX: What mindset you need to develop products that people desire? Monday, January 7th, from 6:30 - 7:30 Tomer Sharon, User Experience Researcher, Google
Many entrepreneurs start companies based on their personal experience — they see a problem waiting to be solved and come up with a solution. Often, they then attempt to perfectly execute the wrong plan. This class will review seven concepts that demonstrate lean and mean UX. Students will discuss the role of attitude and behavior in customer development and cover strategies that could make or break your product.
Tomer Sharon is a User Experience Researcher at Google Search in New York City and author of the book, It's Our Research, on strategies and tactics for getting buy-in for UX research. He founded and led UXPA Israel and is the co-founder and organizer of leanUXmachine — a weekend of UX learning, collaboration, and mentorship for Israeli startups. Tomer speaks at conferences and professional events, is a published author of articles and papers, and a past editorial board member for UXPA's UX Magazine. Tomer holds a master’s degree in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University.
