About This Class

Contracts are important to every business, whether you're just starting out or part of a Fortune 500 company. In this class, you'll receive a crash course on everything you want/need to know about contracts. We'll start with a brief overview of contract law and then cover the essential building blocks of business contracts, as well as contract disputes and resolutions. You'll also get an opportunity to solidify your knowledge by examining a case study with the class. You'll leave with a better understanding of what's entailed in the contracting process and a stronger familiarity and comfort level when working with contracts in any capacity.

Hannah Dworkis is in-house counsel at General Assembly where she works in all areas of the business, including business development, marketing, HR, and Finance. Her day-to-day work also involves negotiating, drafting, and reviewing a wide variety of business contracts, including licensing and service agreements, partnership and collaboration agreements, financing agreements and employment-related agreements.



Prior to joining GA, Hannah worked at a boutique law firm where her practice focused on intellectual property transactions and corporate matters. Before that, she worked out of the New York office of an international law firm, where her practice focused on large cap mergers and acquisitions and technology transactions.
