Ever thought about skipping the corporate job and starting your own business? Or changing the world as a social entrepreneur? Entrepreneurs are people who think out of the box and make their own rules. But where do you begin? What are the typical mistakes to avoid? In this workshop we'll cover what you'll need to be prepared to get through the difficult process of launching a venture and succeeding on your own terms in the world of entrepreneurship. Spoiler alert: you've already got all the skills you need!
INSTRUCTOR: Prior to joining the Athena Center as entrepreneurship advisor, Nathalie Molina Niño launched her first tech startup at the age of 20. She’s advised businesses, artists, entrepreneurs and organizations ranging from multinationals (Disney, Microsoft, MTV, The Discovery Channel, Mattel), early stage startups (Cranium, Onvia) and non-profits (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, World Affairs Council, Seattle International Film Festival, Hedgebrook).
