60 million adults in the US had a mental health issue last year. For those needing support, more than 70% received inadequate or no care. Many couldnt access the care they needed, waiting in line for months. Maybe they couldnt pay, or lived too far from a clinic, or lost patience.

We have apps that deliver groceries.

We have devices that test for viruses.

We havent applied technological advancements to mental health careuntil now.

Tonight we bring together two pioneering psychologists, Fred Muench and Robert R. Morris, who are both entrepreneurs and technologists, to explore how technology can support mental health and promote psychological flourishing. Fred helped build an early and cutting-edge biofeedback device for stress reduction, StressEraser, and Robert built Koko, a crowdsourcing platform for mental health and well-being. Come learn how sensors, applications and social networks are revolutionizing how we help those who are suffering, and enable everyone's flourishing.
