Making a request can be difficult, and thats only half of the negotiating process. Being successful in negotiation requires an understanding of value in the marketplace, the careful crafting of contingency plans, and a willingness to explore the boundaries of a deal and work toward creative, mutually beneficial solutions.

This co-taught workshop combines academic expertise with professional practice. Applying the latest methods from negotiation research, case studies, and role-play exercises, participants will walk away from this session with a new plan for making professional requests and negotiating more effectively in their future work.
