Description

Each month, Content Conversations hosts a speaker or panel discussion around a topic relevant to the future of publishing and content marketing.

On November 28th, we are joined by Gabe Rivera, Founder of Techmeme, for an inside look at the mysterious art of content curation. Or is it a science? In a discussion with Business Insider's Steve Kovach, Rivera will examine the coexistence of algorithms and human agency in the editorial process and the wider implications for readers and the content ecosystem as the media landscape continues to evolve.

About Our Speakers

Gabe Rivera is the founder of TechMeme, the popular tech news headline service focused on the leading edge of technology. He won a 2007 Crunchie with TechMeme for Best Bootstrapped Startup and was named to Time Magazine's "Top 25 Most Influential People on the Web" in 2008.

Steve Kovach is the founding editor of Business Insider's SAI: Tools vertical, which covers consumer tech. His primary focus is the mobile space, and he writes news and reviews about smartphones, tablets, and apps. He's a graduate of the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and has degrees in journalism and English. You can follow him on Twitter at: @stevekovach
