It's time to get down and dirty! This month we take a look at how to rally a community in an emergency. How to get people involved, IRL and keep them involved all year. We're talking with hands-on community organizers from both Sandy recovery efforts and organizations focused on building a solid community of volunteers all year round.

But wait, there's more! We're also hosting a toy drive for Operation Social Santa. SocialSanta is a collaborative effort formed through social media to give back during the holidays to children around the world. We will be collecting gently used, recycled, upcycled, or new toys in partnership with #NYtechresponds to donate to Hurricane Sandy victims.
