<P><A HREF="http://www.thecombine.nyc/about/" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer noopener nofollow noopener noreferrer nofollow nofollow noreferrer nofollow">NYC Media Lab's Combine accelerator program</A> is recruiting entrepreneurial teams for a third year!</P>
<P>The Combine program exists for early stage, university affiliated startups. Through the program, NYC Media Lab provides teams with the guidance, funding, opportunities, & leadership tools needed to commercialize & reach a product-market fit for their startup concept. All faculty & students from accredited NYC universities are eligible to apply to the program.</P>
<P>Of the 21 early stage teams that have completed the program since the program's inception, 15 formed companies.</P>
<P>Since joining the first cohort graduated a year & a half ago, the teams have raised an additional $2.5 million in venture capital, SBIR, angel investment, friends & family money, prizes & other grants. Three teams have joined TechStars, including <A HREF="http://vidrovr.com/" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer noopener nofollow noopener noreferrer nofollow nofollow noreferrer nofollow">Vidrovr</A>, a team that makes video machine readable; <A HREF="https://braiq.ai/" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer noopener nofollow noopener noreferrer nofollow nofollow noreferrer nofollow">Braiq</A>, a team that building a system that connects biometric information from passengers with the artificial intelligence systems in self-driving cars; & <A HREF="http://geopi.pe" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer noopener nofollow noopener noreferrer nofollow nofollow noreferrer nofollow">Geopipe</A>, which makes it possible to create automatic 3D models of cities.</P>
