Hi everyone,
We are excited to invite you to a very special event!
Paul Ford (@ftrain), software engineer, writer, editor, co-founder of Postlight, and general provocateur of all things world wide web, will speak about the True Nature of Digital Talent: what talent means, how it's created, recognized, measured, motivated and sustained.
Paul will joined on stage by rockstarsStacey Mulcahy (@bitchwhocodes), Anil Dash (@anildash), Chris Wiggins (@chrishwiggins) and more, who will talk about their work in the talent space. n3rdj0y!
Some of you have known Paul for years; some of you found him back in June when you discovered his tome "What is Code?" in Bloomberg Businessweek, which took over the entire publication and was the magazine's most read article, ever. For those of you who don't yet know him, make sure to buckle down because it's gonna be quite a ride.
Check out his column in the New Republic...

We look forward to seeing you on Dec 10th at the New-York Historical Society, where the exhibit Silicon City: Computer History Made in New York will serve as the perfect backdrop for this talk.
This event is made possible by the generous support from our presenting sponsor Silicon Valley Bank and supporting sponsor Postlight.
Please provide your full name and email when you register. Meetup alias will not suffice.
Please note that there's limited capacity for this event, so we will be a lot more strict w/ RSVPs. We want to accommodate as many people as possible so if you are no longer able to attend, please update your RSVP. We want to keep events free for everyone so thank you for doing us a solid on this.
If you take up a spot and don't show up, just know that I will be watching... and I have an incredibly good memory......
