<P><STRONG>Description:</STRONG>Kayvan will go over different ways to persist data on Android devices & their security risks through examples & suggestions on a more secure way of storing user data.</P>

<P><STRONG>About the Speaker:</STRONG></P>
<P><SPAN>Kayvan Najafzadeh is an Android engineer with a degree in computer science from UC Berkeley. He started working with Android around 2010 & fell in love with the platform. An advocate for open-source, he has contributed to multiple open-source projects & started many of his own. He is currently working at</SPAN><A HREF="https://goo.gl/nTGWkn" TARGET="_blank" REL="noopener noreferrer noopener nofollow noopener noreferrer nofollow nofollow noreferrer nofollow">Doximity</A><SPAN>to help healthcare professionals save lives.</SPAN></P>

<P> The building entrance is next to the parking garage & someone will be outside to let you in starting at 6 pm!</P>
<P> 5-minute walk to the King St. Caltrain station. 20-minute walk from the Powell St. BART Station.</P>
<P>Bike Parking: You can bring your bike inside, but you'll need to carry it to the 2nd floor. The building doesn't have an elevator.</P>

<P>All our talks are recorded, so if you can't make it to the meetup you can still watch the talks online about two weeksafterwards. We'll email the videos to the group & post links in the event comments.</P>
