What is Startup Institute's TalentExpo?
Startup Institute's TalentExpo is one of the best events of the season. We've turned the traditional career fair on it's head by putting our talented student body on display, demo-day style. Students with diverse backgrounds and skill sets will be given 60 seconds to pitch their interest and passions to a crowd of New York-based companies.
Why Startup Institute New York's TalentExpo?
If you're looking to build your team with fresh talent or want to meet some of New York's best startups and the people behind them, this is the event for you. Our students have completed 8 weeks of intensive, targeted instruction to prepare them to be a high impact startup employee from day one. You'll hear from students with diverse backgrounds and skill sets in Web Development, Product & Design, Technical Marketing, and Sales & Account management. Over 150 companies have already hired one of our 400 grads!
The Benefit for Non-Partner Companies:
If you or the company you work for hires a student you meet through Startup Institute, the company only pays a success fee if the person stays at least 90 days. The success fee for companies is 9% of the hired employee's annualized salary. In the market, average headhunter fees are over 15% so take advantage of this great opportunity.
For a Partner Company:
