Manchester's booming tech sector has been buoyed still further with a 4m investment to fund two new tech hubs in the city.

As part of Project Forward the fund will be split between Bruntwood-owned Manchester Science Partnerships and Allied London Properties to secure and refurb two city centre properties with the aim of creating 2,000 jobs over the next decade.

The news comes on the back of the success of MediaCityUK, The Sharp Project, SpacePortX and Manchester's wider importance to the Northern Powerhouse.

The average digital salary in Manchester is 45,025 and is growing as the race for talent gathers pace.

So where are the tech start-ups who will fuel Manchester's tech sector? Who are the tech disrupters looking to shake up the world? Where is the funding going to come from to add rocket fuel to the start-up tech community?

These are just some of the questions which will be answered at BusinessCloud's The future of Manchester's tech scene' breakfast, in association with recruitment agency Search.

A panel of tech entrepreneurs will be joined by industry experts to look at what the future holds for Manchester's technology sector.

Confirmed speakers:
Danny Manu, founder, Mymanu
Tom Williams, co-founder, Rota
Abdul Alim, director and co-founder, Offer Moments
Jamil Khalil, CEO and co-founder, Wakelet
