EVENT DETAILS |
STARTS FEBRUARY 8 | 3 CONSECUTIVE TUESDAYS
Every website you visit is built with hundreds, thousands sometimes millions of lines of code. But as complex and intimidating as it might seem, everything that runs in your browser can eventually be broken down into simple blocks of text that anyone can write and understand!
In this hands-on course, you will learn about the web development community, what it means to work in the industry, and how these skills can benefit you as an entrepreneur and creative professional. You'll also write your own website from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Together, we'll go over key coding terminology and principles, set up a basic coding environment, and discuss valuable guidelines and resources for continued learning.
If you want to learn more about the class format, if you have questions about basic skills you might need to use, or if you want to learn more about the specifics of the course, please contact Derrick Foust at dfoust@nymediacenter.com.
Interested in two or more classes? Register as a Silver or Gold Member for unlimited monthly classes.
