<P><STRONG>*Build Your Resume*</STRONG><BR>You will get top tips on what creates a compelling resume, & learn the most common resume pitfalls & mistakes</P>
<P><STRONG>*How to Apply*</STRONG><BR>We will go from targeting companies, to writing cover letters, & what actually happens once you submit that application. What things can you do to make people more likely to actually respond?</P>
<P><STRONG>*Mastering The Interview*</STRONG><BR>We will talk about how interview processes work, & how to answer some of the most dreaded questions (including, What salary are you looking for? & What are your strengths & weaknesses?).</P>
<P><STRONG>*Salary Negotiations*</STRONG><BR>Youll get a crash course in negotiations, including practice! Understand the correct negotiation mindset, the big mistakes to avoid, & how to handle a high-pressured negotiation situation.</P>
<P><STRONG>*Healthy Job Search Mindset*</STRONG><BR>Did you know there are certain attitudes & mindsets that have been proven to help you succeed on your job search (and in your job)? We will discuss the correct mental approach to your job search.</P>
<P><STRONG>*Networking*</STRONG><BR>Networking is a key component of most job searches. Learn how to make a great first impression, craft your elevator pitch, & learn how to get responses when you follow up.</P>

<P>Light breakfast, coffee, & lunch are included.</P>
<P>Students should bring their laptops, current versions of their resumes, & questions about challenges and/or anxieties they have faced on their job searches.</P>

<P>This all-day career bootcamp is great for people who want to find their first job in Tech or people who are already in Tech, but want to leverage their position to find their next job. If you are technical, great, but this bootcamp will be great for non-technical folks as well.</P>
<P>Though this bootcamp will be geared toward people who want to get into or stay in the Tech industry, the skills built will certainly be applicable to any industry.</P>

She has over 6 years experience helping people start & succeed in their careers, & is currently focusing on working with Galvanizes web development & data science students on breaking into the tech industry. Prior to coming to Galvanize, she founded & ran an international recruitment company, was an early employee of a YC startup in San Francisco, & studied Russian & Latin at University College London & Notre Dame.</P>
