<P>Join us for a live recording of the Radio Motherboard podcast at Kickstarter's Greenpoint office! As part of our iPhone week, Motherboard staff will be<SPAN>interviewing Brian Merchant about his new book, <EM>The One Device: The Secret History of the iPhone</EM>,as well as discussing the role the iPhone has played in shaping our culture.</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>We often think of Steve Jobs as the "inventor of the iPhone," but Merchant's book shows that the iPhone was the culmination of decades of innovation & invention by hundreds of people around the world. We'll talk to him about entering a tin mine in Bolivia, a lithium production facility in Chile, China's iPhone black markets, & the CERN laboratory where the touchscreen was invented. Motherboard staff will talk about how in 10 short years, the iPhone has radically changed how we date, work, create, & live.</SPAN></P>
