Are you looking to develop a deeper understanding of the behavior, thoughts, needs, and desires of the community you serve? With human-centered research, you can increase empathy and engagement while gathering valuable feedback to support innovation and growth. In this introductory course, well discuss design thinking and qualitative research methods adaptable to your workplace. This introductory class will share tools to increase understanding of the opportunities and challenges that your community, clients, and consumer-base face. Throughout the class, well share practices to support the selection of the appropriate research technique for your project and budget.

TYTHEdesign draws on years of wide-ranging client work to share strategies, tips, and tricks to ensure research and outcomes land with those you serve. In this two-hour course, well share foundations for designing your own research framework and share methods for crafting outreach to match your community and its unique constraints.
