Unsure what that would mean? It's easier to make the transition than you think.<BR> <BR> This event brings together a panel of researchers who've made the jump from academia to data science in industry, and those who've hired them. Topics will include what skills are useful to companies, how to target your academic skills to a startup job, and how to make connections outside academia. The event will consist of an hour of panel questions, and lots of time to chat informally over a (free) beer and some (free) food.</SPAN></P>
