The Art of Science Education is free and open to the public and seats are first come first serve. He has a B.A. in physics from Reed College, a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Stanford University, and a Certificate in improv comedy from the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. He is the Co-founder and Director of<A STYLE="text-decoration: none; color: #800000;" HREF="http://www.storycollider.org/" TARGET="_blank">The Story Collider</A>, where people are invited to tell stories of their personal experience of science. He is also a Moth StorySLAM champion and a Contributing Editor for TED.com.<BR><BR>Panelists:<BR><STRONG>Joanna Ebenstein</STRONG>is a Brooklyn-based artist, writer, and independent scholar based in Brooklyn, New York. She runs the<A STYLE="text-decoration: none; color: #800000;" HREF="http://morbidanatomy.blogspot.com/" TARGET="_blank">Morbid Anatomy blog</A>, dedicated to surveying the interstices of art and medicine, death, and culture, and the Morbid Anatomy Library, which makes available to the public her collection of art, ephemera, books, and curiosities committed to showcasing the places where death and beauty intersect. She organizes the Morbid Anatomy Presents' series of lectures, workshops, and exhibitions around the world and is also the creative director of the new Morbid Anatomy Museum. She is the co-author of<EM>Walter Potter and his Curious World of Taxidermy</EM>and co-editor of<EM>The Morbid Anatomy Anthology</EM>.<BR><BR><STRONG>Hillary Livingston</STRONG>received a BFA in set design and theatre administration from Eastern New Mexico University. In 2008 she moved to New York City and began her career at the Natural History Museum, and in 2012 was appointed as lead artist in the Hall of North American Mammals and Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Hall Restoration Project. During her tenure she developed new conservation and exhibition techniques that added vitality and depth to these iconic displays. Livingston is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Visual Arts Administration at New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Development, and Human Development.<BR><BR><STRONG>David Wells</STRONG>, Manager of<A STYLE="text-decoration: none; color: #800000;" HREF="http://nysci.org/programs-main/maker-space-folio/" TARGET="_blank">Creative Making & Learning</A>(New York Hall of Science), is responsible for all programming and activities in NYSCI's Maker Space. He oversees the design and implementation of maker related programs which engage families, students and visitors of all ages, as well as maker education initiatives that use local artists and makers as guest facilitators. A self proclaimed "maker of things," David also designs site-specific interactive art installations using discarded technology, audio experimentation, and digital media to create an interesting yet whimsical experience for his viewers. During his time at NYSCI he has worked on a wide variety of projects including designing exhibits for the Early Childhood space, developing emergent curriculum for educational programming, and creating educational videos for teachers and students. He received a B.F.A. from F.I.T. and a Masters in Museum Education from Bank Street.</SPAN></TD>
