There's a fundamental shift underway toward serverless cloud architectures. With the release of code-execution-as-a-service technologies such as AWS Lambda, IBM OpenWhisk, Azure Functions & Google Cloud Functions -- developers are now building entirely serverless platforms at scale. In these new architectures, traditional back-end servers are replaced with cloud functions acting as discrete single-purpose services.
ServerlessConf is a community led conference for cloud enthusiasts and early adopters of the serverless movement. We have assembled some of the biggest names in cloud, to share ideas and experiences building serverless platforms and pushing the envelope of what's possible.
The line-up so far include high-profile speakers from Amazon, IBM (and the Watson Research Center), iRobot, and real-world stories from engineers who have worked at Docker, Facebook, and Microsoft... with some more impressive speaker announcements to come.
