Three years in the trenches with MongoDB Ryan Nitz of 10gen

Over three years ago I was first introduced to MongoDB and I immediately became a fan of the product because of the development productivity gains. When sharding was added to MongoDB, it really completed the circle because the product also supported horizontal scalability. This talk is a broad overview of the product history and the development and operation lessons/tricks learned from using MongoDB in multiple high throughput production systems.
