The Quantopian Hackathon is a free, quantitative finance competition that will run from 11:00AM ~ 4PM in New York City. Quants, data scientists, students, and anyone else interested in quant finance, are welcome to participate.

Participants will learn, create, and compete with strategies developed on the Quantopian platform. Winners will be determined using a rigorous, quantitative judging process by team members from Quantopian.

Hackathon Agenda

11:00AM 11:30AM: Introduction to Quantopian and explanation of Hackathon rules
11:30AM 12:30PM:Hackathon Start. Competitors will be free to ask Quantopian panelist questions.
12:30PM 1:00PM:Lunch
1:00PM - 3:00PM:Hackathon Afternoon Session. Competitors will be free to ask Quantopian panelists questions.
3:00PM - 4:00PM:Final announcement of 3:30 submission deadline
