Description
Hack|Brooklyn is a 3-day Hackathon hosted at NYU-Poly. The competition is an effort by NYU-Poly Incubator Initiatives, as well as Poly student organizations. Everything you would expect from a Hackathon with a Brooklyn twist.
The Competition
Hack|Brooklyn is an engineering competition that will test and reward the technical skills and creativity of students in the New York City area. Students from different backgrounds collaborate to create a working prototype of a hardware or software product. Students operate under a grueling two-day time constraint, which encourages innovative and entrepreneurial thinking as they collaborate to come up with the new products and business ideas. Hack|Brooklyn will be a great place for students to network and get excited about technology, as well as a great place for sponsors to get students to use their technology to make awesome creations.
The Location
->3/8 - Pfizer Auditorium of 5 Metrotech Center
->3/9 - 3/10 - 4th Floor of 6 Metrotech Center
->3/10(DEMOS) - Pfizer Auditorium
The Organizers
Hack|Brooklyn is organized by Patent Pending, an engineering club at NYU-Poly dedicated to helping students prototype their ideas; the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Association (EIA), the largest club at NYU-Poly, dedicated to supporting new and existing entrepreneurs; and the NYU-Poly Incubator Initiatives, an arm of the University that operates three start-up incubators in Manhattan and Brooklyn with support from the City of New York.
