In recent years, communities have shifted their focus from net-zero buildings to net-zero energy districts. Also in a New York context, district thinking may well become instrumental for New York to achieve the renewable integration & energy efficiency goals of REV.

Net-zero energy districts can be highly suitable for densely occupied areas, such as urban zones, campuses or manufacturing sites, so with this event we take a deep dive into the advantages & possibilities to approach energy at larger scales. More so, energy districts can deliver exceptional energy performance & create communities that are more livable, resilient, & environmentally sustainable.

Through two consecutive panel discussions with industry leaders participants will obtain hands on & case based insight into how holistic planning & integration of renewable energy sources & high performance intelligent buildings can lead to net-zero energy districts.
