ANDREW ACKERMAN
Andrew is the Managing Director for DreamIt Ventures' New York program. Andrew began his career at Booz & Co consulting on strategy and operations for Fortune 100 clients. After a brief stint at Kaplan helping transition their traditional classroom test prep services into online products, he joined Bunk1.com as COO/Head of Product where he spent eight years building it from scratch to the leading provider of web services to the summer camp industry. After being bought out of Bunk1 in 2008, Andrew managed a family office where he was responsible for both incubating new ventures and for managing over 50M of alternative assets including hedge, private equity, and venture capital funds as well as a number of direct investments in private companies.
BRIAN HECHT
Brian Hecht is a serial entrepreneur with multiple exits and particular expertise in digital media and consumer marketing. he is currently leading two NYC-based startups and is an advisor to many more, including Investormill, which he mentored for the DreamIt Ventures Summer Class of 2014. Previously, he was the Publisher of Premium Services for TheStreet.com.
KEITH FIORE
Keith Fiore is the CEO of Miner, a mobile commerce platform that powers virtual "pop up shops" at any location or event. Before Miner, Keith was the Founder & CEO of 2aTEE Gold Media, a leading digital out-of-home media company with over 30K screens nationwide. 2aTEE counted blue chip names like American Express, General Motors, Verizon, Chase & Fidelity a clients before it was acquired by GPS Industries LLC.
SONALI PILLAY
Sonali is co-founder and CEO of Browsy.com, a site that helps you identify and purchase the fashion products in your Pinterest account. Browsy is a DreamIt Ventures NYC Summer 2014 accelerator program alumni, as well as a member of the "HIVE." incubator. Prior to founding Browsy, Sonali was a management consultant working on building social media offerings for retailers and go-to-market strategies for technology companies. She was named one of the "14 E-Commerce Entrepreneurs You Need to Know About" by AlleyWatch.
RAY HENNESSEY
Moderator
Ray is the Editorial Director of Entrepreneur Media and is a respected and award-winning journalist, an accomplished newsroom manager, and is comfortable producing, managing and distributing news across a range of platforms, from television to online to mobile. He has built, led and fostered news operations in every form of media, from Dow Jones, SmartMoney.com, and Fox Business Network.
