<H3 CLASS="text-align-center" STYLE="text-align: center;"><SPAN STYLE="font-size: large;"><STRONG>WHAT IS CULTURE HACKS?</STRONG></SPAN></H3>
<P CLASS="text-align-center" STYLE="text-align: center;"><SPAN STYLE="font-size: medium;">An exercise designed to help startups understand, develop and strengthen organizational culture within their businesses by aligning core member values and beliefs. Columbia's Value Exercise has been shown to increase team cohesion and trust, as well as to help organizations identify and retain team members.As part of the Value Exercise, startups will select value cards to create their own distinctive value hierarchies. Led by Professor Paul Ingram at Columbia Business School, the Culture Hacks workshop is a testament to how companies benefit from value alignment.</SPAN></P>

His </SPAN>PhD<SPAN STYLE="font-size: medium;"> is from Cornell University and he was on the faculty of Carnegie Mellon University before coming to Columbia. He has held visiting professorships at Tel Aviv University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Toronto. His research has been published in more than forty articles, book </SPAN>chapters<SPAN STYLE="font-size: medium;"> and books. He has consulted on issues of organizational design and strategy to leading companies in the finance, healthcare and consumer products industries.</SPAN></P>
