NYC Premiere of "THE FUTURE OF ENERGY" film 
in association with the PEOPLE'S CLIMATE MARCH

<SPAN STYLE="letter-spacing: 0pt; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-size: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;">On Sept 16th, <SPAN STYLE="letter-spacing: 0pt; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-size: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;">The Future of Energy film will have its NYC premiere at the NY Society for Ethical Culture in New York, New York at 7pm, in association with the People's Climate March. <SPAN STYLE="color: #222222; letter-spacing: 0pt; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-size: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;">There will be a Q&A with the filmmakers after the screening, <SPAN STYLE="letter-spacing: 0pt; background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-size: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;">with opening remarks by NY State Assembly Member Linda B. Rosenthal. Doors open at 6:30pm with a $10 suggested donation. People starring in the film who are expected to be at Premiere include: Jamie Henn, co-founder of 350.org; Pandora Thomas, environmental educator; AshEl Eldridge, CEO of S.O.S Juice, and Katie Hoffman, campaign director at California Student Sustainability Coalition. Invites still waiting for confirmation include: Bill McKibben, Adrien Grenier, Diane Moss and more. Because of the People's Climate March (PCM) is the following Sunday, they want to use the film screening as their celebrity event. Many more invites will be going out to gather high profile people.

The film focuses on solutions to climate change and advocates for the use of 100% renewable energy. The documentary highlights the work of influential climate change activists and visionary renewable energy advocates including: <A HREF="http://www.thethirdindustrialrevolution.com/" REL="nofollow nofollow">Jeremy Rifkin</A>, best selling author of The Third Industrial Revolution and principle architect of the European Union's renewable energy movement; <A HREF="http://www.billmckibben.com/" REL="nofollow nofollow">Bill Mckibben</A>, author and leading environmental activist on climate change; <A HREF="http://www.joannamacy.net/" REL="nofollow nofollow">Joanna Macy</A>, author and eco-philosopher; <A HREF="http://www.sungevity.com/sungevity-executive-team" REL="nofollow nofollow">Danny Kennedy</A>, author of Rooftop Revolution and co-founder of Sungevity solar company; <A HREF="http://www.renewables100.org/index.php?id=56" REL="nofollow nofollow">Diane Moss</A>, founder of Renewables 100 Policy Institute; <A HREF="http://web.stanford.edu/group/efmh/jacobson/" REL="nofollow nofollow">Mark Jacobson</A>, Director of Atmosphere and Energy program at Stanford University and co founder of the Solutions Project; and <A HREF="http://earthseedconsulting.com/about/" REL="nofollow nofollow">Pandora Thomas</A>, sustainability consultant and environmental educator. The Film also features the Mayors of two U.S. towns that have transitioned to renewables already; The Mayor of Lancaster, California, Rex Parris, who's transitioned to solar energy, and the Mayor of Greensburg, Kansas, Bob Dixon, who's transitioned to wind energy.

Local community screenings have been organized in over fifteen cities, in the U.S. and Australia, and the film has become a mobilizing tool for the transition to local clean renewable energy. In addition, the Film will be featured in Origin Magazine's September issue, in alignment with the Bay Area, and NYC Premieres.
