Description

Judy Iskovitz will lead a workshop "Strangers in a Strange Land The Product Manager in an Agile Environment".

The session will include short introductions to:

Agile vs. Waterfall software development

Product Management

for those unfamiliar with the terms.

We will discuss:

Product Managers additional responsibilities in an Agile environment (werent we already busy?)

How different companies are handling the product management role in this environment

Possible solutions to the time and scope dilemmas facing Product Managers in this environment

Please come ready to share your experiences, your concerns and your advice for PMs new to Agile.

More about Judy: Judy's 31-year career spans product management (for hardware, software, and services products), strategic planning, systems engineering, consulting, teaching and training. Currently, she is Senior Vice President at Sequent Learning Networks, a product management and marketing training and advisory services firm. As more and more of her clients transition from waterfall to agile software development she has been researching and speaking on the topic of how product managers can be effective in an agile environment.
