The rapid increase of disruption in the food tech space attracted $6.8B in VC funding worldwide during 2015 ($2.3B within the US). Given the number of these startups launching in New York, Metro AG (Europe's 4th largest retailer) is coming to NYC to explore global trends in the food tech and restaurant services space.

The METRO Accelerator powered by Techstars is a highly-selective mentorship program for digital and technology startups across the entire value chain of hospitality and food tech.
