SPEAKERS
Dave Temkin, Director of Global Networks, Netflix
Tasked with designing and building the Netflix Open Connect Content Delivery Network, I oversee the team responsible for designing, deploying, and operating Terabits of network and server capacity to deliver movies and TV shows to over 50 million customers. I also presently serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Open-IX association (http://www.open-ix.org), the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for NANOG (http://www.nanog.org) and am a member of the board of Children of Bellevue (http://childrenofbellevue.org).
Farhan Kahn, Director of Solution Architects, Telx
Farhan Khan leads our Solution Architecture group at Telx with a focus on understanding clients global technology direction when assisting with an overarching solution. Farhan joined Telx in 2011 as a Sr. Solutions Engineer and has 15yrs of solutions/sales engineering experience in the telecommunications arena ranging from DWDM platforms, Layer 1/Layer 2 Service Providers and now with colocation and datacenter services at Telx. Based out of NY for the past six years, Farhan has been in the middle of the race to zero latency evolution from a connectivity and datacenter infrastructure perspective.

Adam Lesser, Analyst, Gigaom Research
Adam Lesser is lead IoT Analyst for Gigaom Research. Earlier he was lead researcher at Blueshift Research, a Wall Street market research firm where he focused on a range of technologies, including semiconductors, software, telco, and media. His career began as an assignment editor for NBC News in New York where he worked on both the foreign and domestic desks. In his time at NBC, he covered numerous stories, including the Columbia shuttle disaster, the DC sniper, and the 2004 Democratic Convention. He won the GE Recognition Award for his work the night of Saddam Husseins capture. Between his time at NBC News and Blueshift, Adam spent two years studying biochemistry and working for the Weiss Lab at UCLA, which studies protein folding, which has implications for diseases like Alzheimers and Cystic Fibrosis.
