<P>More than half of Americans work for or own a small business. Startups and small businesses account for 66 percent of new job creation in the US making the success of small businesses critical to economic reform and prosperity. </P>

An optimism index, produced by the National Federation of Independent Businesses, suggests that optimism among small business owners rose sharply following the November election. This panel will explore how to translate that optimism into practical actions that small businesses can take to develop, grow and thrive.<BR></P>
