Love Actually is a critically acclaimed annual short film screening event, hosted by New York Film Loft & SCENEPR! on Valentine's Day each year. Love Actually features films from around the globe and all genre of short film. This is our NINTH SUCCESSFUL year running! Once again we invite you to join us to as we screen an AMAZING group of submissions from all over the globe! Award-winning filmmakers, producers, iconic music artists and acclaimed actors. That's what we have in store for you at this years event! SCENEPR screens the best short films about love,sex and romance during our Valentines Day screenfest. This is a non-competitive event that takes place Sunday, February 14th, 2016 from 6:00-9pm. Join us for this wonderful evening of networking, film screenings and dating advice. SPACE IS LIMITED!  The film gives an intellectual look into the inside of the highs and lows of the life a platinum selling artist, whose work has made a lasting impact despite the polarizing feelings towards her.
Director: Gezus Zaire Born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in the community of East Cleveland, Gezus Zaire is the founder of the award winning media outlet Rebel Life Media.
 He is a nationally published journalist that has worked in television, film and radio. Bringing a diverse field of expertise that ranges from sports, politics, music, activism and history among many other topics, Zaire applies his experience and education to his documentaries to give them a unique feel.
 Zaire is a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts & Science in communication from the University of Toledo. He is a member of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Ohio Valley Chapter.

At NYU, Gabrielle found her passion for documentary filmmaking and during her sophomore year, her short documentary Runnin on Empty was selected for the NYU Sight & Sound Film Festival. The next year, another short documentary titled Life After Sandy was selected for the Atlantic City Downbeach Film Festival. She is currently in a yearlong honors course working on A HEARTH OF OUR OWN, which will tell the story of an undocumented Irish immigrant living in New York City. She is also interned at CNN's Documentary Unit. Gabrielle now lives in Washington DC and is an Associate Producer for 522 Productions.

My latest short silent comedy 'Wipeout' was made in 7 days as part of the Aarhus Short Film Challenge 2014. We won an Honourable Mention and were in the Top Ten Films of the Festival.
My Film London funded drama Stop has had enormous success on the international film festival circuit, winning many awards, including two Best Actor Awards, playing in eighteen festivals thus far, and was Rankins Collabor8te Film of the Week early this year.
Crossed Lines my first short film, was funded by the RTE/Film Base short film scheme and had a successful run on Irish television.
"Next! an online comedy series I directed with comedians Haiste and Lawrence was on the long list for the 2014 British Comedy Awards.
My clients include Saatchi & Saatchi, Auspicium, Volkswagen, Barclays, The Sunday Times, MTV, The Times, Unilever, and Diesel.
I used to be a 1st AD, with over twelve years experience in features, TV dramas, commercials, and promos, a skill base that proves very valuable in my directing career.
I am currently working with a number of writers, developing my next short film, a feature idea, and I am actively seeking opportunities to direct television drama.

Director: Sam Luk Sam Luk (1987, Canada) is a Chinese-Canadian filmmaker, born and raised in the suburbs of Hong Kong. Sam began writing for the screen in 2010. His first short film, Invincible Spring, was an ambitious project shot over three years, completing in August 2014. He has since founded Parafauna, a production company in Vancouver, British Columbia.
