Join LMHQ + Civic Hall's Civic Women for an unconference event about innovations in women's advocacy & female empowerment. This participant-driven, loosely structured event will emphasize the informal exchange of information & ideas between participants.

We'll break out of our comfort zones to develop actionable takeaways to change the future of women. What does this mean exactly? Now more than ever, we must examine the conversation around women's advocacy & empowerment as tied inextricably to power structures around gender, race, class, ability, & sexuality. Participants are asked to push themselves & challenge underlying assumptions & subconscious bias, paying special mind to intersectionality.

Topics will include closing the wage gap, girls' education, leadership, political protest, racial justice, gender, workplace policies, entrepreneurship, & more. Formats can range from a facilitated dialogue, to a lecture, to a workshop. Like a typical un-conference, attendees may float in & out of sessions, to gain as much from the event as they like.

The final event of the evening will be a healthy portion of networking with other attendees, to grab a snack & chat even more informally about what theyve learned throughout the night.
