<PRE>GODIVA: A GLOBAL BRAND'S GROWTH STORY
Godiva, the world's leading premium chocolate company, was acquired by Turkey's Yildiz Holding in 2008. Since then Godiva expanded its global presence and also its key market in North America.
On December 1 Kaan Dagalti, VP Godiva North America Business Development, will take us through the journey after the acquisition. He will present the company's investment behind innovation, enhanced selling environments and the Godiva brand.
Godiva was the first major international acquisition of Yildiz Holding. The Group added Demet's Candy Company and most recently United Biscuits into its portfolio. Yildiz Holding is the largest Turkish investor in the US and the third largest biscuit/cookie group in the world.
