She's lovedteachingand training since her days as a Jet Engine Mechanic in the US Navy,trainingall thenewbies how to perform maintenance on the E6-Mercury's engines. The meticulous troubleshooting involved with this type of work fostered a passion fordebugging in programming. She's debugged code with over 60 studentsattributing to 19 apps successfullydeployed to the iTunes App Store.

Sonam Dhingra is an iOS engineer, entrepreneur, and ZogSports dodgeball leaguer living in Brooklyn. She has a B.A in Business Administration & Finance and graduated from Boston University. Her background is extremely diverse. From being a real estate agent, to a motion graphics editor, to an entrepreneur, and for the past few years building iOS apps for a variety of companies. Her journey into programming included a 2 month iOS bootcamp in 2013. She has built over 3 iOS applications from the ground up through her experience at a few different agencies.

Recently she built the TKTS iOS application in Swift from scratch and as the lead iOS developer.Now, she works at ustwo, a digital product studio, where her current project revolves around building a mobile experience for one of the nation's most popular daytime talkshow hosts

In her spare time you can find her traveling the world, learning the depths of virtual reality, and reading about the random history of things (like forks or yoyo's).

Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in NYC, Alicia has always had the drive to expand personal understanding of culture, expression and learning. She took the opportunities of college to expand her knowledge of Music, Cognitive Science, Biology, Art Therapy, and Psychology. Once completing college with a BA in Linguistics, she workedon gaining management skills within the food industry as well as the Healthcare industry.
