Description
Tech@NYU is excited to welcome Kate Ray (@kraykray) of scroll kit to give a talk on Backbone.js.

Like Ember.js, which Asha presented last week, Backbone is a client-side MVC framework for building interactive single-page web applications. Since there are many of these frameworks out there, it's worth checking out their differences.

Backbone is one of the most widely used client-side JavaScript frameworks. It's been around for quite a while, so it has a large community and there are a lot of resources and tutorials to learn from.

If you want to get a preview of Backbone.js check out this site: http://backbonetutorials.com/
