An Insider's Guide to Angel Fundraising // BUSINESS 121
Thomas Wisniewski, Board Director, New York Angels
Tuesday, April 17th from 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Learn about the angel investment process and fundraising marketplace from an active early stage investor and board member of New York Angels. This class will provide a thorough overview of the "market" for early stage investment, and teach students to distinguish between Angel investment and other sources of capital such as VC and "friends and family."
It will tackle the following common questions about Angel investing:
Who are Angel investors? Where can I find them, and how do I identify the right ones?
What does the Angel investing process look like?
How can I be more effective in targeting, pitching, and negotiating Angel investment for my venture?
Tom Wisniewski is an active early stage investor and advisor to start-ups, venture capital, private equity and growth-stage companies. He is a member of the board of directors for New York Angels, an early stage investment group and serves as a board member and advisor to a number of early stage ventures. In addition, Tom is a Partner at the management consulting firm Baldwin Bell Green (BBG) where he focuses on Financial Services, Technology and Private Equity clients.
