City & State will convene leaders in government, public policy and the health care industry to discuss all these topics. This forum will address the opportunity for advancement in New York health care, promoting health tech through government, and the approach to combating infectious diseases and other public health threats. Join over 250-plus health care professionals from across the state, including government officials, public health officials, hospital administrators, investors, health care providers and innovators from both the public and private sectors. <P>New York City and New York State are either actively combating or preparing to fight a wide range of public health risks, from the opioid abuse epidemic to the Zika virus. New York is a leader in trying to stem opioid abuse, and is actively exploring new ways to curtail the epidemic. The state was also a model for the nation in its response to Ebola, successfully treating a patient at New York Citys Bellevue Hospital. Now, the country is gripped with fear of the Zika virus. What are New York agencies and hospitals doing to help with this fight, and prepare for future diseases, in one of the most diverse cities in the world?</P>
