We will have five successful women in the tech industry talk about their startup journeys and help you launch yours. If you are also interested in joining a boot camp and gain the skills to enter the NYC tech community, this is the event for you.

Diane Hessan, CEO of Startup Institute + Founder of Sound Bytes
Diane is a successful entrepreneur, marketer and author. She has spent her career as a business executive, and as co-author of the book Customer-Centered Growth: Five Strategies for Building Competitive Advantage. She is also Chairman of Communispace, where she was CEO for 13 years. Diane has received many honors, including the Pinnacle Award from the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, the Most Admired CEO award from the Boston Business Journal, Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year, and #3 on The Boston Globe's Top Women in Technology List.

Amelia Otte, Founder of TechFest Club + Sr Product Manager at Moda Operandi Inc
Amelia currently works as a Senior Product Manager for Moda Operandi, a startup which lets you p<SPAN STYLE="background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-size: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;">reorder designer collections straight off the runway and shop at their expertly curated in-season boutique. Before Moda Operandi, she was working as a product manager for Ann Taylor and has also worked at Math4Science as a Director of Product. If we can call her anything that would be a product genius. She started her entrepreneurial journey attending General Assembly last year and started TechFestClub, <SPAN STYLE="background-image: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-size: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial;">an event series for women in tech. TechFestClub focuses on expert insights, practical advice and actionable takeaways. It brings quality content and networking opportunities to the tech community; it just so happens the room is full of women.

Jessica Hack, People Operations + Project Management at YPlan + Photographer at Airbnb
Jessica currently works for YPlan, a tonight's going out app. Founded in London in February, 2012, YPlan is now in Edinburgh, San Francisco, New York and Las Vegas and continues to expand aggressively, bringing its curated event discovery experience to new cities. She has worked for YPlan for 3 years wearing many hats as a community manager, business operations manager, photo editor and now as People Operations. She has also been a photographer for Airbnb for the past 4 years. She has experienced it all.
