We're partnering with STEM Kids NYC for a volunteer day! This is a chance to spend a Saturday afternoon volunteering with fellow GDI members to help out an organization focused on fostering STEM skills in grade school children. Volunteers will either be assisting students in developing an app, or engaged in one or more Science lab projects, or engaged in an Engineering & Design project. STEM Kids NYC is an organization that provides a year-round, intensive suite of STEM education programs for K-12 scholars. Our core programs foster STEM skills development, an understanding of the importance of STEM as a way to solve the worlds major problems, as well as an interest in STEM electives, majors, and careers.
