Last year's Digital Outlook Study revealed a disturbing insight: when asked about talent gaps, 77 percent of agency respondents identified user experience (UX) as the biggest shortfall on the client side. In his popular article, EffectiveUI's Anthony Franco posits that the primary function of marketing is to sell to the consumer and the primary function of UX is to serve the needs of the consumer; one campaign, one application or one digital product simply cannot do both.

Join SoDA and more than 100 digital marketing agency executives for an interactive conversation asking "Are Marketing and UX Actually Compatible?" Our panel, consisting of industry leaders and experts, will candidly debate the disparities and common grounds between UX and Marketing. Additionally, they'll seek to discuss and explore best practices on closing this gap.

This SoDA Session will also serve as a public reveal for 2015's Volume 1 ofThe SoDA Report which features exciting insights from the 2015-16 Digital Outlook Study.
