This event is part of our meetup seriesto create networking opportunities and advance relationships within the global management consulting community - all in a 'lounge-y' setting. Our panel will include successful entrepreneurs and leaders who left consulting for the start-up world. The discussion will be focused around "how a consulting background can help and/or harm you when trying to build and manage a successful start-up".
While our events primarily target consultants, we are an inclusive community, inviting to anyone interested in joining the profession, ex-consultants and (aspiring) entrepreneurs.Most of ourevents attract a mix of all of these groups; both, women and men are welcome to attend.

Wrede is the General Manager of Airbnb NYC. He is primarily responsible for managing the overall business, building out local operations and representing Airbnb regionally. Prior to joining Airbnb, Wrede was with Bain & Company in New York and London, where he spent most of his time advising private equity, technology and media companies on strategy, growth and innovation.Wrede also worked for the Council of Foreign Relations in New York.He holds an MBA from HBS, an MSc from the London School of Economics and an AB from Harvard College.

Aman Advani is Co-Founder and President of Ministry of Supply, a menswear company focused on creating a new category of clothing, Performance Professional, through a collaboration between experienced engineers and seasoned fashion experts. Aman comes from Atlanta, GA, where he studied Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech before pursuing a career in Operational Strategy consulting at Deloitte and attending MIT's Sloan School of Management.
