tl;dr

Pair Design is much more than just one person holding the mouse & the other dictating what to do: Its a freaking awesome mind meld. In this workshop, well go over best practices & approaches for successful design pairing.

Why Pair Design?

Pair Design has numerous benefits, including shared context, more focus, leaner iteration cycles, & increased gut biota!

So, do you want to learn how to pair design?

Colby Sato has over a year of experience doing Pair Design at Pivotal Cloud where he practices it every day of the work week. Colby has learned how to externalize his deepest unformed thoughts & leverage Pair Design as an innovation multiplier.

Kim Dowd was most recently the Design Practice Lead at Pivotal Labs where she worked on the alignment of best practices across 18 global offices. She focuses on the sharing, teaching & agreement of process around Lean & user-centered methodologies within an Agile company. Kim now works in San Francisco & New York as a freelance Product Designer working with companies of all sizes.
