Panelist: Amit Shah, Founder & CEO


Amit is the founder of AIT International Corp. He is a young entrepreneur who started AIT when he was a sophomore in high school. He started the business with $0.00 and has grown the company into mid-sized company. Recently he received a letter of intent. However, he declined it -- all $10 million -- confident he can grow without taking on any investors at this time. He aims to build AIT into a market leader. He will be entering his senior year this September and as long as he passes all of his classes, he will continue to expand the company and gain market share at a faster pace! Still in high school he still oversees the company, manages a team of developers and is responsible for the project management and growth. He says that he wants to be a prime example of "you don't need college to succeed in life".

Panelist: Bruce Bachenheimer, Professor and Director

Bruce is a Clinical Professor of Management and the Executive Director of the Entrepreneurship Lab at Pace University. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, primarily in the areas of entrepreneurship, management and strategy. He is also the organizer of the annual Pace Pitch Contest and Business Plan Competition.He is a member of the Board and past Chair of the New York City Chapter of the MIT Enterprise Forum and has served on the organizations Global Board. He serves on the Board of Directors & Advisors of LeadAmerica and has served as a consultant to governmental organizations and a variety of new ventures.

Moderator: Kevin Pianko, Partner of WeiserMazars, performs audits of public and private companies and assists them with the financial and operational aspects of their business. He helps clients obtain alternative sources of capital and provides merger and acquisitions, and strategic alliance analysis. Kevin has industry expertise in life sciences, private equity activities, SEC/public companies, technology, manufacturing, professional services, and financial services. He is also a regular on Bloomberg Radio and NBC.
