On September 23rd & 24th, 2017, student statisticians, developers & engineers will take part in the second annual NBA Hackathon. This year's Hackathon will feature two tracks, basketball analytics & business analytics. Teams accepted to the Hackathon will work for 24 hours building tools to solve challenging & important problems in the NBA. Their work will be presented to panels of expert judges & an audience of NBA personnel, media, invited guests, & the other competitors. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams of each track, with a grand prize that will include lunch with NBA commissioner, Adam Silver, & a trip to NBA All-Star 2018 in Los Angeles.
Note: the NBA Hackathon is open only to undergraduate & graduate students studying at accredited universities in the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec).
