Robotics: Robotics are one of the best tools to enhance learning coding, computational thinking, engineering, design thinking, and UX. Having the right robotics platform can help students to develop problem-solving skills that involve math, engineering, and physics.
Session 2:
Microcontrollers: Using the right microcontroller can be the difference between having an inclusive, self-starting and self-motivated experience from a frustrating one. During this workshop we'll explore four types of microcontrollers: raspberry Pi, arduino, gogo board and hummingbirds. We'll analyse their platforms, programming languages, documentation and community, and school implementations. Educators will be able to understand better the difference, potential and learning use of these microcontrollers. For better experience bring your own computer.
