When Eric Migicovsky finished YCombinator with his whacky prototype - a smart watch that could display messages from his iPhone, he couldnt find enough investors willing to fund production. So he took his idea to Kickstarter, and within 2 hours had met his $100,000 goal. By the end of the month, the Pebble smart watch was the most funded project in Kickstarter History with over $10,266,844 raised.
Were really excited to have Eric join us for a fireside chat and Q&A. Well talk about how the Pebble Watch became such a phenomenon, and where the technology is going next.
Pizza, beer and refreshments will be served (covered by $5 entrance fee). We look forward to seeing you all there.
