More on Joe: Joe Meyer was most recentlythe CEO of HopStop a popular location-based service that was acquired by Apple in July, 2013. HopStop provides multi-modal pedestrian navigation and transit routing in 1,000+ cities within a dozen countries across multiple digital platforms including web, mobile web, native app and sms (www.HopStop.com/mobile); and is the top ranked transit app in the iTunes Appstore. "HopStop Live!", a crowdsourced service within the HopStop iPhone app, also provides users with real-time transit information across 1 million stops and over 25,000 transit lines. Prior to HopStop, Mr.Meyerwas the Vice President of Publisher Development for Quigo Technologies (a leading contextual ad network acquired by AOL in late 2007) at which he was responsible for securing strategic partnerships with major digital media companies. Before Quigo, Mr.Meyerwas an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for ONSET Ventures, a leading venture capitalfirm in Silicon Valley. Earlier in his career, Mr.Meyerwas a GM at eBay where launched its co-op advertising program, and managed several of it's large product categories including Collectibles and Sporting Goods.In addition to his current role at Apple, Mr. Meyerwas recently an adviser to Adtuitive (acquired by Etsy), Belief Networks (acquired by BenefitFocus) and Kalexo (acquired by Autodesk); and is a current adviser toSnoothand Spongecell.
