The UX Lab has partnered up with General Assembly to bring you the hottest panel the user experience world has to offer this Summer! We're bringing in designers from all across NYC and a variety of different industries, all focused on connecting people. Here are our featured panelists, with Meaghan moderating the bunch.

Mike Perrotti

Mike Perrotti has been designing at Meetup for the past year, and gets to focus on getting new Meetups started and onboarding organizers. Before Meetup, he spent time as a front-end developer at Createthe Group and studying at University of the Arts. He started out more interested in fine art and print design, but found he had a lot more fun working with something as dynamic and flexible as the web. He runs The New York Reptile Meetup, binges on podcasts daily, and on the weekends can be found making prints and going to shows.

Jessica Skeete

Jessica has been at General Assembly for almost two years where she's the Product Lead for all of our part-time courses.Her passion is using technology to innovate, facilitate and motivate adult education. She has experience teaching object oriented programming to corporate employees, masters and doctoral candidates in universities. She enjoys working with organizations to design learning products and experiences that are engaging and built on solid adult learning theories.

Natasha Irizarry

Natasha Irizarry is a mother of three and a Product Designer at dating site OkCupid. She specializes in responsive design and meeting the unique needs that many users have. She is heavily involved in the UI/UX/Design community in and around NYC as well as her hometown of Charlotte, NC. Natasha will be speaking at Hybrid Conference this coming August.

Mona Patel

Mona combines positivity, timeless wisdom, sharp design thinking and a little bit of magic glitter with her 15 years of experience in design and research to help you see around corners and realize a kind of success you didnt necessarily expect. She started Motivate Design in 2009 to create a place where clients could get what they want, rather than what an agency needs to sell. She teaches design research and strategy at Parsons The New School for Design and balances her hypersonic speed by being a certified yoga instructor. She holds a M.S. in Marketing Communications from Boston University and a B.S. in Engineering Psychology from Tufts University.
