Description

Kacie Hultgren is a Queen-based theater designer who got fed up with all the furniture middlemen and long shipping waits. She launched Pretty Small Things, a firm that creates 3D-printed set models of historically-accurate furniture including her own Queen Anne collection. Hultgren mastered model styles too, like these wicker love seats. Pretty Small Things frequently designs for Off-Broadway shows and sells internationally.

Joe Masibay is owner of Breadbox Studio, a toy development and product design company whose  clients include Mattel, Toys R Us, Fisher Price, Radio Flyer and Jim Henson.

Patrick Walsh is owner and creative director of Walsh Family Media LLC and will be showcasing characters from his feature animations printed as 3D printed figurines. He’ll talk about the movement from the 3D animation industry to the maker movement.

David Lobser is artist and animator based in NYC whose commercials directed include Frito Lay “Love and Sprockets”, Orbit “Technicolor”, Washington Post “Post Points” and more. His model, Elephant Love on Shapeways has been a big hit since its debut as Lober translates his off-the-cuff personality into prints.
